juliegeraci 7 Posted December 30, 2007 GNC has a Protein Shake in soy and milk based which is really good. I take the chocolate most of the time. I believe a big canister is around $40. I think it is around 60-80 servings.
TachaBaby505 2 Posted December 30, 2007 i use designer whey in the chocolate flavor. i get mine from GNC. its not bad at all as long as u use a blender to make the shake, i use a magic bullet and its great. this is the only Protein Shake ive tried and i really dont mind the taste at all. and it only has 100 calories per serving and no carbs
collet 0 Posted December 30, 2007 I use Fortress Whey Protein from Walmart in chocolate. It cost $16 I think for a canister. It's not bad as long as it is mixed well. 23 gram protein per scoop. I think you just have to get used to the taste and smell of any of them.
1bayougirl 0 Posted December 31, 2007 RESET is more expensive ($30 for the powder) and available at SpRouts and Bashas, also on-line. It TRULY fills you up and tastes great. Anther option is made by Body Fortress (AVAILABLE AT WAL-MART). It has 100% whey Protein , 4 carbs, and 46 g of protien. It tastes like chocolate milk and has about the same consistancy as chocolate milk so mix in a Fiber or something like strawberries. If you like it thicker, blend with ice. I like it, but it doesn't keep me full like the RESET.

I usually use 1% milk with it.
dcfolan 0 Posted January 4, 2008 I've tried tons of Protein shakes and most of them have been vile (in my opinion). I've found three that I find acceptable: Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protein - grocery store/organic foods store. Nutrition facts: 8 oz serving, 178-199 calories, 2.5 g fat, 29 carbs, 10g protein, 45% Calcium, 150% Vitamin C, 150% Vit B12 -- best taste, my favorite, but kinda high in calories. Comes in Mocha, Chai, and Hazelnut. All have caffeine. powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury shakes - chocolate with milk, vanilla in coffee. Check out Welcome to the Unjury Homepage - need to be patient mixing this together or you get a chunky layer on top, and coffee can't be too hot or it'll curdle the protein. Atkins chocolate Royale (all other flavors taste too strongly of vitamins). Nutrition facts: 11 oz serving, 9g fat, 6 carbs, 15g protein, 40% Calcium, 30% vit C, 25% Iron, 30% Vit B12. These can be found at the Vitamin stores (GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Vitamin Store, etc.) and sometimes in the diet aisle at the grocery store. Everyone's got different tastes, and some folks do fine with soy products and don't notice the aftertaste of things, or that scratchy-throat vitamin unpleasantness (Isopure zero carb - good protein, low cal, really need something to drink afterwards). I can force my way through a lot of the different Protein Bars (really not worth the pain, by the way) but I need a good tasting drink. Good luck in the Protein Drink search. When they say "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" - they really mean it for the Protein drinks.
