LynneB 0 Posted December 28, 2007 Hello everyone. I am so glad I found this forum. I am counting the days till I can set my surgery date. I am still fighting the insurance "red tape". I am seriously considering financing my surgery instead of waiting. A little about me, I am a 36 yr old single mom of a boy 14 and a girl who is 8. I have been researching lap band for months and made the final decision in November to go ahead with it, now its just the waiting game. I cant wait to get to know all of you & hear about your experiences and hopefully make the time go faster while I wait.

KayKay 0 Posted December 28, 2007 I am in the same boat with you. I am a mother to a three year old and made the decision to have the LB done, I have meet all the criteria and just awaiting the approval from the insurance company.. Good luck, I'm glad to know that I am not the only newbie here. So when is your surgery scheduled?
LynneB 0 Posted December 28, 2007 I'm not scheduled yet, so far I have been to a seminar but nothing else pre-op done yet. I am so excited to get going on everything. I have approval from capital one finance but the payments of almost $600 a month would be very hard for me so I am trying hard to be patient but I am not a patient person & I just know I am going to get in over my head with the payments just so I can hurry up and get it done!!!!
