Have lap-band surgery the week before Christmas!

Yep... I've lost just over 12 pounds since surgery... that's the only upside to recuperation at this point!

I am up a pound after this week but then I've been fluctuating 1-2 pounds for two weeks.

At least I didn't gain 5+ like in the past I was the only one NOT miserable after all of our feasting and activities!

Touche, wombat! I was up 1.4 # this morning--and thinking of holidays gone by: how absolutely miserable I would be by the end of the days, and taking zantac and nexium to subside the acid reflux--what a great feeling to eat a small portion and be happy!

Congratulations, Heather, on your new band! I am so proud of all the newly banded prior to Christmas! Because I KNOW there are a lot of people who postponed surgery "until after the holidays"... So you began your new life at the hardest time of the year, m'dear and that makes you terrific in my book...!
