Mspretty86 362 Posted 15 hours ago (edited) I LOVE and I MEAN LOVE SWEETS! I'm looking forward to people sharing low sugar or no sugar added sweet treats (Recipes and Favs). I have been eating sweets ever since my surgery. I have never stopped eating sweets. I'm a great cook so I make all the sweets myself! From my own Protein Bars to even Yes my own chocolate. I never stopped eating sweets and I still continue to lose weight, I just make a lot of dupes and it's very satisfying ... I'm 11 months postop. Let's get to sharing those tasty treats. Mspretty86 362 Posted 15 hours ago These are no sugar added chocolate cashew butter cups. I have included pecans. I eat two to four of these per day! 1 FifiLux reacted to this
BlondePatriotInCDA 532 Posted 9 hours ago The only sweets I allow myself are the Yasso bars and once in awhile a sugar free fudgcicle. I love sweets too! I'd "kill" for a fudge brownie or right out of the oven chocolate chip Cookies. 🍪 🤗😍 Your Cashew cups look delicious! How many calories, fat etc? 1 Mspretty86 reacted to this

Also miss the Cookies right along with you! I spent a lot of time tweaking recipes to be bariatric friendly. These cashew buttercup like I can eat 2 to 4 of these a day and be fine and I cook big big batches and I don't go back for more so that's some real self restraint to be honest. Let me see I think the calorie content is. I think they are about 100 cal per cashew butter cup. People can adjust them to be lower switching out ingredients. FifiLux 512 Posted 4 hours ago I try to get my 'sweet' through Protein Snacks, which are processed I know but at least I can be sure I get some protein in and I feel like I have had a treat. Considering, apart from my daily yogurt, everything else I eat is either a raw (nuts, fruit, veg) or made from scratch by me I don't mind the Fulfil or MyProtein snack. Shop wise, I allow myself dark chocolate such as Lindt with a flavour like chili or raspberry and I have two squares post dinner when I have it. My boss gave me a box of delicious Belgian chocolates recently so yes I indulged, though did share some. Twice now I have made delicious brownies using dates, yummy and gooey - https://nourishedbynic.com/brownie-protein-bars-nut-free-gluten-free-no-bake/#recipe Couldn't find a seed butter so I adapted and used a spread here that is made out of biscuit (Biscoff) so increases the sugar but by the time I portion it all out there is still not much for the deliciousness it gives (approx 250cal, 25g carb, 10g fat & 10g protein). I try to limit myself to one a day and freeze them.
Mspretty86 362 Posted 9 minutes ago @FifiLux awesome! I am going to try those brownies! Lindt makes some very goood chocolate. I'm a chocolate connoisseur 😂. I like how you figured out what works for you and what you like and the way that you limit your intake awesome.
