buffy1987 0 Posted December 25, 2007 i was banded May1,2006. I lost 50 pds by september by walking and walking. I had my first back surgery in October and a disc replacement this last May. My exercise has changed considerably. I have gained 10 pounds back in a year off work. I am not upset by that considering the physical limitations that I had. I would graze while I was home all day and picked up my bad habits again. I had my surgery with Dr Wagner in St Louis mo. My doctor wouldn't do any fills till I got clearance from my back doctor. One of my medications added weight and I freaked out. I am going back in January and getting my third fill now. It has been 6 months since I had my second fill. Has anyone else got stuck? I am hoping that getting a fill at the beginning of the year, and taking my lunch and Snacks to work will get me back on track.
DonHoll1 0 Posted December 26, 2007 Sounds like you are doing ok considering your other surgeries. Now that you are better just keep coming to this site for support to help you re-focus. The third fill really did it for me. Best of luck. Donna

buffy1987 0 Posted December 26, 2007 I am so glad that I found this site. It must of been fate. I have looked up lapband info before and never came across this site. I think it will be a great tool in helping me get back on track. Some days I get to feeling like a failure because I have been stuck for a year, when someone says Oh You look the same. I am grateful that I only gained ten pounds considering the year I have had and falling back into the old habits. I only know one other person who has had the surgery and she has done great. I am getting back on the bicycle. Here I go!!!!!!
