@ShoppGirl so I was unsure if I should start trying! My boobs having fully gotten soft, I think they are fully dropped though? From what I measured I am a 34DD? but this was a while ago. I am 11 weeks post op do you think I should try now or wait another month or so?

I would wait until you are sure but maybe do the research and know where you want to go or what you want to order so you can start trying them on asap. You will definitely be able to find one you just may have to pay more than you are used to if you are particular on pattern and cut. I had a real hard time when the options were so limited. When I gained weight I said that was one plus was the cups fit in the larger sizes so swimsuits worked. Ironically because I didn’t want to wear them then 😂. Anyways, if you do a search for 34DD and 34DDD swim (just in case) you will see that they are certainly available just not in every brand and style and not always so cheap. Some will come up and when you click on it they are actually sized S, M, L and don’t let them fool you they will not work for you anymore unless its a tie back in which case a too large band won’t be an issue.

I just think you deserve the absolute cutest suit (or suits 😉) that you feel like a million bucks in so just don’t put it off until too close to summer and be upset that they are a little harder to find. The one thing you do have going for you is that you shouldn’t need much support so you can wear more styles than I could. That will increase your options some. If you go in person just plan a day you won’t be rushed or a couple shorter trips, Im sure it will actually be fun so long as your not rushed. 🛍️👙🛍️

@ShoppGirl My belly is still rough lol so High waisted will be for me, But I would love something that is very booby hahha! then another suit that is appropriate for when I am with family lol I am still wearing post op bras, I am looking forward to wearing real bras because what I can wear is limited.

Thank you for saying that! I have to remind myself that I worked hard and I deserve this! ❤️

Hey @AmberFL could you please explain what was the movement guidelines after surgery. Can you do a light walk or is it no movement after breast augment ? in June when I get mine done I'm going to go crazy as hell with no movement. how long does it take for your breast to settle like do they stay up a lot and then go down and when do you move to your cute bras? Lol thanks

@Mspretty86 I'm certain I am a rare case, I got a lift, large implant and internal bra- everywhere I read was rest for 7days, then light walking afterwards, weights after 6 weeks. I was unable to ANYTHING working out or getting my heart elevated for 7 weeks! His explanation was that he didn't want my elevated heart rate to cause swelling in the capsule that he made for the implant then the implant settle in my armpit because my swelling stretched out the internal capsule. I spent A LOT of money for these girls and he kept telling me not to mess up my investment. LOL After 7 weeks I got the okay to start walking, and lower body. I go back on Friday the 14th and I am hoping he releases me to do upper body so I can get back into the full swing of things.

I am 11 weeks, and they are settled pretty well, but they have very minimal bounce LOL! When I do work out I wear two sports bras just to keep them in place, because I have big implants. I want to keep them perky as long as possible. I can push them together in bralettes and lingerie for sexy time. They stay up and look so effing good ha!

I am still in a post op bra, really hoping on Friday he tells me I can start wearing regular bras at least for events for a couple of hours or so.

Thanks nice!! well I'm sure the Hubs loves them and glad you are healing well. I hope you are enjoying them. I guess I have to look at it like we have our entire life to work out! Well my girls will be small 240 to 260 CC which is like a full C cup. I have a natural stripper body and It will fit well hahahaha. I'm so looking forward to this lift and augment! I'm really looking forward to bathing suits. I always wanted those bathing suits that drifted far down in the front. I never had any titties to fill them out. Hahaha

Sharing this win...I have spent all of my life in an obese body OK obesity is something that's deeply embedded in my DNA (genetic, systemic, chronic, multifaceted). I have spent quite a while in a 3 XL and 4 XL US sizes. My mother was able to purchase me a sleep wear set from Marshalls in a size Large. I have not seen a f**king large in forever! Drops the mic and walks away. This journey is hard as hell, but every day is worth it.

Hi all I am just over 4 weeks post op and today I got up and went for a walk!! This is huge for me as I have not gone for a walk in around 6 years! I suffer from depression and i live in my bedroom most days. But… I am starting to slowly come out of there and actually do stuff in other parts of my house! I know it may seem small but it is a massive win for me! Have a great day!

@Judes76 this is on no way a small feat. I have Bipolar Depression and it took over a decade find the right meds just to get me into intensive therapy (IOP Program) and then bariatric surgery to really get my life back. The IOP program got me out of the house. It started with just one day I went to a crochet group that meets at the library. I had been locked inside my house for so many years I developed tremendous social anxiety and it’s was possibly the scariest thing I have ever done. It took me weeks to work up to it but I did it and it went well. The ladies weren’t caddy or judging me for anything. They were only there to talk about crochet and excited for me that I was learning. I have been at that group meeting every week since aside from being sick or something. I have added other craft groups as well to my agenda and now since surgery I also do group fitness classes at my community center. It’s is amazing to be out of the house and at these fitness groups. Sometimes the women will exchange text numbers if you want too so you can let them know as little or as much as you want but you can tell them you won’t be there if you want. In the past I wouldn’t want to exchange numbers with anyone because I was thinking ahead of the times when I would fall off the face of the Earth and I didn’t want to disappoint them but my therapist taught me that sometimes being accountable to others is enough to pull through a milder depression and it has worked for me. I didn’t share with them anything about my mental health in the beginning, but after about a year, I started slipping small hints and eventually told a couple of them about my mental health. They all know about my surgery and they are some of my biggest cheerleaders. That’s another thing I learned through therapy is that for me trying to do big things like that on my own and keeping the secret just doesn’t work. Everyone’s different but I strongly encourage you to get involved in something at your local library and look into fitness programs at the community center or the library if you want to continue having positive experiences outside of the house. The ones at my community center are very reasonable and we don’t have any at the library but we used to so you might and they should be free Congratulations on your HUGE steps so far and keep it going!! The endorphins from activity are amazing and my depression has lessened tremendously because of this. Also, consider an in person support group if you team has one and keep posting here. The good and the bad (if that comes up). Don’t be embarrassed as all of us have been there if you have an off week. Better to get it out in the open and figure a way to get back on track than to feel bad about it and let it spin out of control. There are so many people here eager to help. You’ve got this!! 💜

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞
