Gastric sleeve access points

Recommended Posts

Anyone has any idea if the sleeve involves accessing through the bellybutton - if yes is it stitched?
Trying to figure my discharge source

It will depend on your surgeon and the size of your incisions. Mine were all externally glued with internal dissolving sutures.

When was your surgery? A bit of drainage may not be abnormal, but if it has an odor, you have a fever, or the area around it is swelling and red/hot to the touch you may have an infection. If you’re worried at all give your team a call and check in with them about it.

I had incisions either side of my belly button, I haven't heard of anyone else having an incision in their actual belly button. any sort of unusual discharge should be checked especially after surgery

PA checked it

leaned it with peroxide inserted a Vick in with peroxide to remove after 48 hours

thinks it’s just normal sebum

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
