Fars 34 Posted June 13, 2024 Anyone has any idea if the sleeve involves accessing through the bellybutton - if yes is it stitched? Trying to figure my discharge source 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
kristieshannon 1,668 Posted June 13, 2024 It will depend on your surgeon and the size of your incisions. Mine were all externally glued with internal dissolving sutures. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

kristieshannon 1,668 Posted June 13, 2024 When was your surgery? A bit of drainage may not be abnormal, but if it has an odor, you have a fever, or the area around it is swelling and red/hot to the touch you may have an infection. If you’re worried at all give your team a call and check in with them about it. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

SleeverSk 635 Posted June 14, 2024 I had incisions either side of my belly button, I haven't heard of anyone else having an incision in their actual belly button. any sort of unusual discharge should be checked especially after surgery
