Thank you :) i got a a while back and never thought I would be able to wear it. I decided to try it on to go for our 3 mile walk, and I was stunned that it fit. It's one of my new favorites now :)

I meant big boned LOL

Lol I was wondering what "bog" boned meant, I thought perhaps it was a local colloquial term! 😂😋

I'm not sure. Everyone is telling me that I look great where I'm at, but if I lose much more, I could start looking sickly. There's truth to that because I'm actually curvy and bog boned, so I carry my weight differently. I'm told I look between 170-175 and not even close to 190, so I'm wondering if 180 will have me looking too thin and not healthy.

Yes I am the same. I have a lot of lower body skin that seems to weigh heavy. If I had the surgery I am sure I could reach it. BMI does not account for this. You do look good. So go learn to maintain now haha

Yep, my doctor thinks that when I have my skin surgeries, I'll go down to a size 12 or large in clothes. So now I have to figure out how to maintain. Never thought I'd be saying THAT lol

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! So very, very happy for you! And you look FABULOUS. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE SCALE! You look like much less than 190! I am betting your body fat percent is much lower than what your BMI might lead one to think.

Thank you guys so much!!! I actually need to stay away from the scale because I saw today that I'm 188!!! I mean, HOW??? So now the trick is going to be figuring out how to maintain. I'm quite happy where I'm at and think I want to stay here.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
