Having a problem, has anyone else had this happen to them?

I had my surgery Sept 4 and have not had too many problems until about 4 days ago. I have a 4cc band, and am filled 1.8cc. My last fill was about 6 wks ago. I have this feeling of a persistent lump in the back of my throat which feels like a "ball" of congestion. Nothing will make it go away, and when I eat, unless I have mushy consistency foods, I've been getting stuck, and wind up throwing up. Could it be that I'm filled too much?, though why would this effect take so long to happen since my last fill. Any thoughts on my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all, and Happy Holidays!!!

Thanks Jack, I'm thinking that I need an unfill too. I too have benn getting the constant sliming and burping. Problem is , it's the holiday, can't go to Dr.s office, only to emergency room, and I dont want to do that!! Guess I'll have to live with this until Wed.

Been There, Done That. It's A Horrible Feeling. You Hopefully Have Already Gotten A Little Unfill. It Is Immediate Relief.

When I finally was able to get a fill, they put 1.5cc in my 4cc. I was way too full, always throwing up and liquids were hard to get down. He took .5cc out *doh*, and I was back to no restriction.

I went back in, and he put the whole .5cc back in. It was too tight, but I've adjusted with it. I'm slowly but surely getting to proper restriction. I don't know why he won't do smaller increments, but I fear if I go back he'll take the whole .5cc out.

Ask your doc to take out just .2cc-.3cc.
