Eve411 1 Posted May 2, 2024 Had my surgery April 1st and I feel like I have not lost as much weight as I had anticipated. I started out with 297 and I am now 280. However, my nutritionist told me not to worry so much about the pounds, that I may feel like I'm not losing weight but that I may be losing inches. I do not feel the difference, are any of you experiencing this. If so any tips? 1 BabySpoons reacted to this
summerseeker 2,246 Posted May 2, 2024 Don't compare your weight loss to anyone else's. That way is only misery. Trust your team and the process. Stick to their regime. It works. The weight you have lost is fantastic and above average. I lost 15lbs. Mahoosive round of applause coming your way. This time next year you will be amazed how much you have lost. 3 1 Arabesque, BeanitoDiego, BabySpoons and 1 other reacted to this
Arabesque 7,425 Posted May 4, 2024 That’s pretty much what to expect in the first month (around 15-25lbs). Those who lose those large amounts of 30, 40 or so pounds the first month usually start of at a weight much higher than your’s like on My 600lb Life. And 100% of what @summerseeker said. Never compare yourself to others. It will mess with your head bad! Congrats on your surgery & your weight loss so far. Wonderful! 1 Eve411 reacted to this
