I don’t have a date yet but I think I have pretty well settled on the SADI surgery for my revision. I meet with him the end of next month to ask my final questions and then I guess it’s a waiting game. I am hesitant to post on the regular pre op boards and say I’m pending revision because I gained it all back. I feel like I may discourage someone from trying.

I think its a good thing to see that others have had a bad result with one surgery. Its not all plain sailing. People have high expectations and seeing the negative is good. You have a lot of great information to give. If you have the knowledge where you went wrong or the surgery failed you, its always good to pass this forward too

Good luck with your next chapter.

I have also learned lots from people here who haven't done as well as they wanted to. Everyone has something to share. There's no shame in regain, it happens to loads of people for so many reasons. I say post away wherever you like. I suspect all you will get is well wishes.

I really really hope you get a better sustainable result with your revision. You're doing a good thing for your health. 🤗

Yes, I am pre-op for a revision to my RNY. I am having the TORE procedure done to restore the size of the pouch outlet and the dimensions of the pouch itself.

Congratulations on your upcoming revision. What exactly is the TORE procedure? That’s another one I haven’t heard of (there are a lot more options than I realized in WLS). I am looking to get a sleeve revised to SADI and I’m wondering if they will do anything to my sleeve since it’s probably not the same and I never felt like it was as small as others described to begin with. . Also, do you have a surgery date? have an appt on the 30th with the surgeon to tell him if I want SADI or bypass and to ask my questions and I’m getting a bit nervous about him setting a date. As much as I want to get this behind me and start my journey I am nervous about making this decision and it being so real if I have a date. It’s weird because I wasn’t nervous at all about the sleeve. But I guess it was much safer than a revision procedure. I am just nervous and there doesn’t seem to be many people to chat with about it. How long has it been since you had your first surgery? Sounds like it was a bypass? Were you happy with it?

My SADI revision surgery is scheduled for 8/7. I currently am trying to cut caffeine. Apparently too fast because I just woke up with a headache.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
