100lbsforsale 0 Posted December 22, 2007 OMG, my family is just driving me nuts. I'm hungry but everytime I try to sip anything but Water I am so nauseous..My husband is in the kitchen like every 30 minutes getting something to eat(popcorn, Jerky, Cookies, cereal- in the last 1 1/2 hour), my kids are dragging crackers, cookies and fruit all over the house. They are all drinking pop and watching movies, I'm hiding in front of the computer so I don't have to smell it all. Somebody PLEASE help me before I get out an machine gun and go all Mel Gibson-Leathal Weapon on them.
jc2008 0 Posted December 22, 2007 im actually doing a lot better being around food than i thought i would. I went as far as to make dinner tonite for the family, and didnt even feel like i wanted to eat. Of course when my step mom brought out this cute snowman cake she bought i had to leave the room. I just comfort myself that its just a few more weeks til i can have such foods again. They arent gone forever, just for a little while.
jewelee 0 Posted December 22, 2007 There with ya, sister. My husband has been in charge of, well, everything this week. My family has been eating well. He even made them an apple crisp ... which happens to be my favorite dessert. I have been consoling myself with the same thought - not too much longer and I can have a bite, if I want. HeavyHeartland 0 Posted December 22, 2007 I guess I am lucky, as my wife is banded as well. The kids though, that's another story. They're still chomping on left over Halloween candy and oh, the smell of Cereal in the morning, it smells so good ...
Chrisann 0 Posted December 22, 2007 What if you make yourself a Protein Shake and sip that while they are eating junk?
christasha 0 Posted December 22, 2007 I guess I've been lucky . . . food hasn't bothered me either seeing it or smelling it . . .I just don't care about it. Since my son and his family moved in a couple weeks ago, my d-i-l has been baking nonstop. . . and no problems here. (TG!) Hopefully this will pass for everyone at some point!
