diadori 22 Posted November 8, 2023 I would recommend calling your insurance company and asking for their assistance in locating in-network providers. They should be able to help you switch doctors if you need to. Your current doctor may be in-network, so make sure you ask that as well. 2 heycrystal2052 and summerseeker reacted to this
RickM 1,752 Posted November 9, 2023 Check with your surgeon but typically/frequently the follow up appointments for the first year or so are included as part of the surgical fee. If so, they you are covered for the first year or two.
heatherdbby 70 Posted November 10, 2023 check with your office first and see what you have already paid for. examply my dietician and mental health is included for life. My checks up to 13 months is included. and then i would have them run your insurance and see what coverage you have to stay with them, if not, they can refer you to someone that has coverage. 1 heycrystal2052 reacted to this
BoilerBob 51 Posted November 20, 2023 Depending on the plan you may also be able to get a waiver for continuity of care for a time immediately after the switch. 1 ChunkCat reacted to this
