RnYBabe 36 Posted September 14, 2023 Yesterday was the first day of my liquid diet and boy oh boy... I knew it was going to be intense, but I hadn't realized how fierce the hunger pains would be. Good luck to those who have had their surgeries, I can't wait to join you guys on the losers bench! And to those on the liquid diet with me currently, we've got this! 3 gadgetgirl68, Sleeveme_Please and NGGYU88 reacted to this

Any input I had some last minute feelings too but then I was resolved to do it. Recovery hasn’t been too bad as long as I remember to take it easy. One step at a time, right?! Any input I had the sleeve on the 5th and I too began to second guess my decision up until the night before surgery. I did have an extended hospital stay due to nausea and my heart rate being too low for a couple of days post op. Other than that recovery is going well. You just have to remember to take it easy and listen to your body. I had my first follow up visit yesterday and my surgeon said I am healing well. The hardest part has been making sure to drink as much as possible. Good luck with upcoming surgery 🙂 1 NettyD reacted to this
