MsTeeTee 72 Posted July 31, 2023 When were you allowed to stop using your CPAPA after surgery? 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
toodlerue 452 Posted July 31, 2023 After you loose a considerable amount of weight you really should have another sleep study. I lost 70 lbs & still have to use one! I’ve been using one for 18 years 🤦♀️ 1 1 MsTeeTee and GreenTealael reacted to this
LindsayT 596 Posted July 31, 2023 I'm down 60 lbs and am still having apnea events according to my machine. Once I get to goal, I may look into another sleep study. 1 1 MsTeeTee and GreenTealael reacted to this

Makes sense. I will just have to be patient of course. Thanks friends ❤️
ShooterInTheSix 128 Posted July 31, 2023 I underwent a sleep study as a requirement of this process and as a result have now been using an APAP machine for the past month. A friend of mine had his surgery two years ago and while he no longer physically needs to use his machine having lost 175lbs, he told me he loves sleeping with it and continues to use it. 1 MsTeeTee reacted to this
Christina B1128 23 Posted August 7, 2023 I am 7 months post op and I'm still using my cpap. I have to do another sleep Study in October before my pulmonologist makes that call. I am already down 70 pounds. But I will wait and see what the doc says. 1 MsTeeTee reacted to this
