Viactiv calcium chews

Anyone use the Viactiv calcium chews? At $.10 per chew they are 1/4 the other ones online.

I think those particular chews are Calcium carbonate. They taste fine, at least the ones I had which were caramel. The problem for me is that I had kidney stones so I have to try and stay away from calcium carbonate. I buy calcium citrate which is more expensive.

Usually doctors will suggest calcium citrate because it's more readily absorbed than Calcium carbonate. Viactiv is calcium carbonate.

I'm taking Caltrate.I just checked the label - it's Calcium carbonate. That's good to know . I'm always learning something new here !!!

we were also told to take calcium citrate - it's much more easily absorbed by us. And yes - unfortunately, it's more expensive than Calcium carbonate.
