No bra here either....just my old standard leather thong and my cape....HAR!!
Okay, I think I'm going to have to request a warning lable from now on with all your future postings... Something along the lines of "Caution! May cause Crystal to laugh until she cannot breathe!"

Okay, I've got my caftan ready... How long does the jammie stage last? How long does the "no bra" stage last? (I only have bras that are marvles of engineering...)

I wore sweats and loose t-shirt the first two days after surgery and no Bra but on day four I went back to work so I bought some large size silver healing band-aids and covers the incisions, was able to wear a bra and I swear that the silver healing helpd the inscions heal quickly with less scarring than I thought I would have. I also used Vitamin E 30.000 mgs to moistuize after the saples were removed they say it helps reduce the scaring as well.

Good luck on your surgery.

Bra-less just wasn't an option for me and yes the girls would have rubbed an incision without one. I would have just gone bra-less except that all my research had told me to expect to be up and walking around the hosp. after surgery. I just couldn't wrap my mind around doing that without a bra on, (I mighta knocked someone out!) LOL!!! Then, it turned out that they didn't want me to walk at all, go figure!!! My sport bra was not a pull over, but had hooks just like a regular one. It is just very stretchy with very little support and no underwires, but it was better than nothing and I was able to wear it without a lot of discomfort.

Blossom, you just reminded me of why I needed the bra. It was because one of my sweaty boobs was sitting right on the incision, mashing it. How could I forget? It was really un-cozy to say the least. I guess it's better to bring and old soft bra just in case, cuz you never know where the incisions will be. Even a stretched out, beat up one with the underwires cut out.

I wore some elastic waist cotton pants, that were p.j.'s and very compfy. You really couldn't tell they were not street pants.

I wore a sports type, no wire, soft cotton bra in order to keep the mamory gland off my incision. It worked real well.

Big - BIG t-shirt and the largest size of stretch shorts (back in July) - WITH a bra, thank you! Yes, it was uncomfortable.

I went braless at home for about a week - maybe week and a half - before it wasnt painful to wear.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
