I am in pain where the band is placed. I had surgery 3 days ago. how much longer will this pain last ?

when will I be able to move freely?

It slowly got better for me, the first week was the hardest. I kept reading stories about people who had no problem after surgery and I was in pain. You aren't alone in feeling great pain after lap band surgery, and it should get better slowly day by day.

It wasn't that pleasant to think about as I wrote, either. :eek:

Very few things can make me ill on site. Cadavers, organs, blood - doesn't phase me. Saliva on the other hand, ewwblblblb...

For me it is eyeballs. I can't stand eyeballs. Eyeball surgery will send me hurling like nothing other. Bone surgery is a close 2nd.

Now, blood, pus, guts, and cadavers, verrry cool!
