summerseeker 2,236 Posted May 31, 2023 You look fantastic. well done. You should stop shedding about the 8th month mark. I thought I would go quite bald and then it just stopped. I had to bite the bullet and cut mine short 1 BabySpoons reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted May 31, 2023 mine lasted 3-4 months (started in month 5 - stopped around month 8 or 9). Although I really didn't lose that much - it wasn't noticeable to anyone but me.

Crepe 0 Posted June 1, 2023 Hi! Your progress is wonderful. Besides a Multi-Vitamin patch by Patch Aid i am using their Biotin plus patch. I’m just about 8 weeks out from the sleeve and my hair is getting longer and trust me I am not eating nearly enough Protein. The biotin plus patch seems to be really working. Good luck with the rest of your journey,
rjan 164 Posted June 1, 2023 My Hair loss slowed down and then mostly stopped towards the end of my first year, but didn't start coming back in until during the 2nd year. It had mostly come back in at around 18 months. hair follicles always go through a cycle of growth, followed by a period of dormancy of 3-4 months. This whole cycle is 5-7 years. It's just that usually, your different follicles are at different points in their cycle, so you usually have some growing long while others are dormant and others are newly growing. Surgery pushes them lots of them into dormancy at the same time. They almost always come back. 1 Arabesque reacted to this
Spinoza 1,452 Posted June 1, 2023 You have done so amazingly well. Hair loss is (sadly) an inevitable part of losing massive amounts of weight. Your body just stops growing it for that time because it's not absolutely necessary. I promise it will grow back afterwards. I'm sorry there is no evidence at all that any particular supplements make a blind bit of difference. People take them and their hair grows back (and then they evangelise). But - other people don't take them and their hair also grows back. Me included. I wish you all the best - you're doing fabulously! 1 Arabesque reacted to this
