LindsayT 596 Posted May 18, 2023 Hey friends, is there a trick to mix Isopure, specifically the fruity infusion ones and it not be foamy? It takes some time for the foam to go down. Most powdered Protein is foamy when you shake it.

LindsayT 596 Posted May 18, 2023 I've never blended mine. Even when I wash my shaker bottles they foam until all the Protein is gone. You just got to wait it out.
NP_WIP 274 Posted May 18, 2023 It definitely foams, specially the fruit one. I shake it and let it stand for about 2 min and then drink.
xoxoMeli 64 Posted May 19, 2023 Don't blend it because it makes it more foamy. Use a shaker bottle and wait a few min for the foam to dissipate.Sent from my SM-G991U using BariatricPal mobile app
BabySpoons 617 Posted May 19, 2023 I don't use Isopure but it seems this method would work mixing any Protein Powder drink. I blend my Protein Shakes with a Vitamix. I was worried because I read on this forum that my blender would cause too much foam and contribute to gas. Never was a problem and I swear it makes my drinks taste better. No chalkiness etc. I add a frozen cup of yogurt and ice cubes along with skim milk to the mix and it comes out more like a milk shake. I can eat it with a spoon. And to add a bit of sweetness or change up the flavors I add half a packet of SF Sunkist singles or Crystal Light. So maybe try adding some frozen to cut down on the foam for more of a dessert type drink. 1 MountainClover reacted to this
