I am a huge roller coaster fan. But the last 6-7 years, I haven’t fit in most.
Today I went to Universal and went on every ride with no problem. It’s a great F$&king day!!!!

Love roller coasters. It's been quite a few years since I've rode one. I think I'm going to add that to my list of things to do in the near future. Glad you enjoyed your day @SuziDavis Woo hoo!!!

My fav coaster was in FL at Disney World. I went during the off season in Oct so I was able to ride this one 3 times without having to wait in line for hours as some told me they had to, if you go at the wrong time of year.

My daughter made me laugh last night.

She was getting ready for bed while I was watching Downton Abbey (a show placed in 1912)

She stops to watch and goes “wow that’s in the olden days, right?”
I said yes!
She goes “like 1989?”

. . . I died.
I said, Noooooooo!! Like 1912

She said “oh so I was close!?”
Haha

She’s 6
She’s always good for a laugh!

oh, and when which bars/restaurants have karaoke nights during the week...

Ahhh... what song would ms.sss sing on Karaoke night? Or do you just go to enjoy the oysters and laugh at others' drunken slurring lyrics? Hahaha!

I would attempt this since song lyrics seem to convey my thoughts and feelings sometimes better than anything else. ♫

My go-to song is Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone" lol.

Its def a challenging one, but for what I lack in talent, I make up for in ENTHUSIASM 😂

I don't know if weight loss has put me in a mind state of "cleaning house" but I have been going through every room, closet and cupboard getting rid of junk and unnecessary items I've held on to for years. Losing the weight and an organized house feels reeeeally good.

Even though I haven't tried this trick, it still made me smile.

Happy Healthy Holidays everyone!

I bet you get standing ovations ;)

Today I would attempt this song, although I usually just watch karaoke. I'm a big introvert but finding my social anxiety is getting better as I lose the weight and feel better :)

My husband made me laugh today; I was kinda bummed because I hate shopping at grocery stores and its hard to find different foods that I can eat..so I'm looking at a label and I see movement to my left out of the corner of my eye.. Its my goofy amazing husband doing the electric side and booty shake down the isle towards me to the grocery store music...singing down the entire isle!. 😂 he's usually pretty reserved so it made me burst out laughing!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
