sherrie918 3 Posted April 14, 2023 My doctor says no more than 3 grams of fat in any serving and I'm allergic to Vinegar. Any suggestions for dressing a salad?
LindsayT 596 Posted April 14, 2023 What about hummus? There are so many different flavors. I'm not sure the fat content right off. Also, you can mix dry ranch packet with fat free Greek yogurt. Both of these options would give you some extra Protein. 3 ShoppGirl, BabySpoons and sherrie918 reacted to this
LindsayT 596 Posted April 14, 2023 You can also blend fruit with a bit of olive oil if you want something less creamy. Strawberries, mango, blueberries, or raspberries are all good options. 2 ShoppGirl and sherrie918 reacted to this

I would try substituting the vinegar for fresh lemon or lime juice in recipes. You might have to adjust the recipe a bit, so taste until you like it. 3 sherrie918, Arabesque and ShoppGirl reacted to this

A variation of the ranch with yogurt is you can put ranch and cottage cheese in a blender, thin with milk until you like the consistency. 4 ShoppGirl, sherrie918, Arabesque and 1 other reacted to this

They're not exactly the same flavor but they're close. 1 ShoppGirl reacted to this
KathyLev 285 Posted September 13, 2023 Yes --- Walden Farms has a big selection of low fat and sugar free food. That's what I use now. 1 ShoppGirl reacted to this

The Greek yogurt with ranch tasted pretty darn good to me (and I don’t even like Greek yogurt but love ranch) I found it a little thick to spread it out as a dressing, though. Anyone have ideas to thin it out.
