Welcome! And congrats on your surgery date. We are from all over the world. I'm in Colorado, US. It's nice to buddy up and share your experiences with others who are at a similar stage in their journey. The support is definitely needed. This is not an easy thing to do; especially in the beginning. I'm so great full for a community who gets it. Best of luck to you.

Hey! My surgery date changed from May 15th to May 22nd! Good luck to everyone this month!!!

Had my RNY on 5/3/23. I won’t sugar coat it, I’ve been in extreme pain. Mainly from my incision sites. Thankfully I haven’t had any nausea and I have been passing the gas fairly well. Took a while though. Like Lindsay said, walking around helps. Also taking a shower helps too. Good luck to everyone

Went to my favorite Chinese restaurant and got their wonton Soup. Stained out the bits and had the most glorious broth for lunch. Today was a good day despite the pain I'm still feeling.
