Protein Water. Everyone who struggles with the shakes needs to get onto it.

Same issue here. I bought way too many and now can't drink them. You can put Protein Powder in foods until you can eat regular foods that will give you Protein on their own. It's not the best, but it's a solution. Also the clear Protein Drinks might work better for you. I couldn't tolerate those, either. but some really like them.

I haven’t found a Protein Water i like yet- but will keep trying. The shakes taste good and dont make me sick, just feel like lead in my stomach right now. I’m going to try thinning them with milk or water, and may warm them to see if that helps. Wish me luck.

I diluted them to make them more palatable though it was a taste & texture thing for me (so grainy & coated my teeth - ugh!). I never had another one when I got to purées.

I have found Protein2o and Gatorade zero with Protein. The Protein2o I usually find in the supermarkets in the whole/organic foods or pharmacy areas. They go for around $2 to $3 each. Quite a few flavor choices. The Gatorade is a little bit harder to find and stores can be quite proud of it. Premier Protein clear can be found on Amazon. Actually, they all can be found on Amazon. Good luck!

Thank you all-I was able to dilute mine today (1/2 with milk) and only drink about half at a time— it was much better today, not such a heavy feeling. I will try the 20s, but that Gatorade Protein was terrible for me, even before surgery- could barely force myself to drink half of it. This is just the only real way i am getting the protein numbers up… so I will keep at it.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
