maintenanceman 286 Posted February 27, 2023 I'm contemplating skin removal, but I'm hesitant with regard to recovery, cost, etc. Do any of you have regrets about choosing to do plastics? Anything you would do differently if you knew then what you know now? 2 GreenTealael and Tomo reacted to this
kristieshannon 1,668 Posted February 27, 2023 Zero regrets. My second best medical decision, just behind my VSG. I had a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, breast lift and augmentation, and arm lift. 3 2 Tomo, GreenTealael, ClareLynn and 2 others reacted to this

ChubRub 1,709 Posted February 27, 2023 ZERO regrets!!! Best thing I ever did (besides WLS). I look better now than I did in my 20s. It's an amazing feeling! I did TT and Breast Lift w/ implants. My WLS was 12/2019, and my plastic surgery was 1/2021. Thinking about going back for an arm lift next! 1 1 GreenTealael and maintenanceman reacted to this

My WLS was 08/2019, my PS was 01/21. I paid $16,000 for all 3 procedures. I flew from Seattle to Miami because the cost was less than half. Prices vary wildly around the country! 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted February 28, 2023 Nope. It's expensive and the recovery can be painful, but it was worth every penny and all the pain. 2 GreenTealael and Tomo reacted to this
sillykitty 10,776 Posted March 1, 2023 As other have said, absolutely zero regrets. PS was just as important as WLS for my overall happiness & confidence. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
Tomo 1,194 Posted March 1, 2023 For those who have had it, is the pre-surgery checklist less drastic than pre-WLS? To think about all those hoops that I had to go through for WLS, like heart stress tests... Etc. makes me feel tired already lol. Thanks in advance. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

Depends on your age and history as with basically any surgery. I only had the standard stuff like ECG and the typical lab the day before surgery. 2 Tomo and GreenTealael reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,430 Posted March 1, 2023 (edited) No regrets either! Recovery can be a challenge but some procedures can be done together which helps to cut costs and recovery times. Edited March 1, 2023 by GreenTealael 1 Tomo reacted to this
Toesinthewater 31 Posted March 3, 2023 No regrets but just be sure you have realistic expectations. A full Tummy Tuck can give amazing results but it does not remove ALL the loose skin. I still have some loose skin just under my boobs and on flanks. 1 1 Tatro and Tomo reacted to this

Some people seem to expect getting that "hot bod" after surgery - like your skin looking practically normal and untouched. 1 Tomo reacted to this
