Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. So as to enable responses tailored to your question you may want to give some more information, such as why you can't really eat anything...are you experiencing vomiting, acid relux or dumping most or all the time you eat? Not able to actually eat more than a few small spoonfuls at a time? Just can't tolerate eating...texture, taste or smell is turning you off? What foods have you been eating? What guidance have you had from your surgeon or dietician with the issue?

At 10 weeks I was still on purees and was eating a lot of soft scrambled eggs, greek yogurt, refried Beans and various Soups.

weight fluctuations are normal - they're due to things like Water retention and how full your intestines are. And yes - weight loss does slow down quite a bit after the big drop the first month or so. Plus you may be dealing with occasional stalls, too, which are also very common. If the fluctuations are playing with your mind too much, try weighing just once or twice a week - then you'll be more focused on long-term trends and won't be distracted by the daily fluctuations.

I’m experiencing pain on eating and after eating for 2-3 hours. I was sick for the first time the other night after attempting to eat some chicken breast. I am very windy after eating burping but does not feel like acid reflux like before surgery!
I’m only able to eat a few spoonfuls. Can’t eat any meat Pasta and it also sometimes just depends on the day!

May be worthwhile checking in with your surgeon or dietician for some assistance.

Perhaps for the moment scale back to soft foods??

Hopefully some members who have had a bypass may have some relevant experience or information to share

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
