On-Q Pain Pump - Who has had this and did it work?

Gastric sleeve scheduled 4 days from now. My surgeon is going to insert an On-Q pain pump at the end of my procedure. The nurse told me I'll have to remove it myself. I'm having a bit of anxiety over having to remove it. Has anyone had this and if so, did it work, and how uncomfortable was it to remove?

Yikes I would have anxiety too 😮.
I would love to know the answer to this just in case I will be in the same boat for my future surgery!

Umm, that is not in my wheelhouse, I would not be comfortable do this. That would be a big no for me.
