Cindi_Augustine 102 Posted January 22 I was in my early 50s when I had my gastric sleeve done. I’m 65 now and it’s been an interesting journey. LOL Life after surgery is something that I don’t think doctors prepare people for as well as they could. The first year or so we are focused on the excitement of losing, and learning how to eat. But there are long term consequences of this surgery. Some are pros and others are certainly struggles.
