Cbesch 0 Posted January 21, 2023 (edited) I just found a out my fiancee accidently gave me 2 Excedrin instead of 2 Tylenol should I be okay off taking one dose? I know I am not suppose to take that due to it having aspirin Thanks Chris Edited January 21, 2023 by Cbesch
The Greater Fool 2,043 Posted January 21, 2023 You will probably live through your ordeal. My medical team never gave me a blanket ban on any medication because each of our situations are different. Because of liver issues Tylenol was a no-no while aspirin products were "take and monitor, be careful" medication. Some people do have issues the first time they take aspirin products though it is not at all common. Good luck, Tek

catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 21, 2023 I haven't taken aspirin or ibuprofen since I had surgery 7.5 years ago, but the PA at my clinic said taking a dose or two once in a great while for something that Tylenol wasn't doing anything for should be fine. They just don't want us taking NSAIDs as our regular pain reliever, since they can cause ulcers. 2 Tomo and qtdoll reacted to this
