destructapie 1 Posted January 12, 2023 My employer insurance has no bariatric coverage. My husbands employer insurance which I am covered does cover it all.
destructapie 1 Posted January 12, 2023 Will I have difficulty getting it approved? I didn’t even mention my policy when I called the surgeons office. I am confused, help!
The Greater Fool 2,054 Posted January 12, 2023 Your surgeon's staff will be able to help you on this. They deal with it day in and day out. They want you to get surgery, so they will do the best they can to see it happen. They will help unconfuse you. Good luck, Tek

kcuster83 1,504 Posted January 13, 2023 They will go through your "primary" insurance. So, if your insurance is the primary you will likely be denied. But, I am no expert so can't say for sure. But, I do know for sure that all doctors go through primary insurance first.

Tomo 1,194 Posted January 13, 2023 As long as you are covered 100% under your husband's insurance, yes.
