It's Me Suzi G 2 Posted December 26, 2022 Hi! Newbie here. Bypass was Dec 21st. Is it normal for a lot of strange noises to be coming from my pouch when I eat or drink? Sounds like an alien trying to escape!Sent from my SM-S906U using BariatricPal mobile app
SleeveToBypass2023 2,673 Posted December 26, 2022 Yep lol My husband jokes that he's waiting for an alien to push its way out of my stomach. As you get further out, the noises won't just be when eating or drinking. They'll happen at the movies, during sexy time, when watching tv, when trying to sleep, when you have people over....lol It's the new normal 'round these parts 2 1 cloudwhisper, summerseeker and It's Me Suzi G reacted to this

Arabesque 7,442 Posted December 27, 2022 I used to say I had a poltergeist in my tummy groaning & moaning & rattling the chains. Mine still grumbles & whines most every day up to an hour or more after I’ve eaten or drunk (just whined then 😆😆). My young nieces & nephews think it’s hilarious. I was told it’s just your digestive system doing what it’s supposed to do - digest food. Doesn’t mean you’re hungry as we were always told when our tummy growled. 1 It's Me Suzi G reacted to this
SpartanMaker 930 Posted December 27, 2022 I'm curious, is this just a sleeve thing? I'm a bypass patient, but I've not had anything like this?

You might want to update your profile so we know more about your surgery. While some things are consistent between sleeve and bypass, not all are.
