liveaboard15 1,293 Posted November 15, 2022 So i had my ultrasound today due to a elevated bilirubin levels. Ultrasound came back good. No stones, nothing at all. So i am guessing next up i will have something called a HIDA scan which they inject me with this radioactive stuff and watch it flow with the gamma cameras. That will be fun... NOT lol. 2 GreenTealael and Tomo reacted to this

It’s not bad, feels like nothing. Same type of procedure for a (less noisy slightly more open) MRI with contrast. About halfway through they may ask you to drink a Meal Replacement (it was ensure for me) or administer another med to collect more data. 2 Tomo and liveaboard15 reacted to this

I will be interested to see what that shows. I had one and it came back that I had a MASS in my stomach and the back of my esophagus the radiologist wasn't sure if it was scar tissue from the surgery so I was referred back to my surgeon and he said it was however I am not sure he even saw the images but he said most likely scar tissue. it has been bothering me since then as the radiologist wanted an endoscope done but this hasn't been ordered by my GP because the surgeon said it was scar tissue. so yeah I am keen to know what other people's scans have shown Edited November 16, 2022 by SleeverSk 1 liveaboard15 reacted to this
