allheart 0 Posted December 18, 2007 Hi everyone. The minutes are ticking down - I'm so excited about getting banded on Friday. I've been on Optifast for 2 weeks with a few slips like a salad here and there. Clear Liquids are going to be a little hard to manage at work on Wed/Thurs - any ideas? Twilight 2 Posted December 19, 2007 All Heart, Every time I got hungry and wanted something during the clear liquid time I made myself drink a bottle of Water. After that, I told myself that after banding you can't eat for a half hour after drinking so I had to wait. After I set my mind there time just seemed to fly. My nerves kept me from thinking too much about it too. I was too excited/nervous/jumpy/terrified to think much about eating. Try to stay busy and away from the smell of food. Smell is so hard.
