Bowel movement after surgery

Surgery we’d I got my Water and Protein 64 /80 first day . Maybe to fast been totally full uuable to take anything in all day no gas and sick to my stomach all day. How long before first bowel movements

it can take about a week. There's not much in there.

Thanks I was so confused and worried if nothings coming out how can put more in. I believe I over did it the first day .

It depends a lot on your pre op diet, everybody has a different one. Also, people react to surgery differently. I had diarrhoea from the moment I woke after surgery. It lasted 2 long days and nights. Even now I only go once or twice a week with the help of some anti Constipation meds

It took me about a week or so, but now I take Fiber every day and go every other day.

Scared but excited.
