kweenSash 13 Posted October 22, 2022 Hiii everyone I’m Sasha. I had vsg surgery in 2018 and I will be having it revised to bypass 12/22. Looking for any surgery buddies around that time. I’m also excited to read everyone’s journeys on the subject so that I may prepare and not seem so alone. I hope everyone is well on this Saturday❤️ 2 Tomo and SilentMoon reacted to this

That’s awesome to hear..how was it getting your fluids in after surgery? How is healing so far compared to the sleeve?
TerryCieniewicz 7 Posted October 24, 2022 I haven't had any trouble getting my fluids in. As a matter of fact I wonder if i'm not getting too much. I am not hungry or having cravings. I am tired of liquids. There is just so many ways to change up Jello. Healing is going well. No incision problems that I can tell. I guess I'm lucky. I will take it as a win. 1 Tomo reacted to this

lunaticfish 0 Posted December 29, 2022 Hi, I'm getting a conversion too, at the end of January! I'm trying to give support groups a chance, though admittedly I'm not the greatest at this kind of thing. Thanks for writing. What led you to the conversion? SilentMoon 8 Posted December 29, 2022 @lunaticfish the severe GERD/Acid Reflux. My doctor said this would be the best course of action. It has been a challenge❤️but, I know it had to be done. I have finally been able to get a good nights sleep without worrying about my reflux trying to take me out!

Seems like a ton of people have GERD; I've been super lucky not to have gotten it myself. I'm glad you're doing better already!
