150bound 0 Posted December 17, 2007 Hello All--I am home from my Dec 14 sugery. Everything was well and I am not hungry I am working really hard to drink Protein and Water. I never thought I would not be hungry after going all of these days without actually chewing and swallowing this is a good thing. My only problem maybe someone can give me some advice. I have walked, rocked and taken gas-x (extra strength) My gas I can hear moving around in there my stomach is noticeably distended. Has anyone ever heard of drinking water mixed with baking soda? I am in pain from the gas more than from the incisions any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I had a really bad attack from the gas yesterday - had to get hubby to come in and pick me up from work. Only thing that really worked for me was peppermint tea and a lay down. Pain started at 10 in the morning and by 1 that afternoon I was in tears. By about 7 last night I was fine and able to eat something. Danna
