kcuster83 1,504 Posted September 20, 2022 Whelp six months post op tomorrow! I still do not have "hunger" but I find myself more snacky over the last few weeks. It is annoying. I still stay within my plan limits 98% of the time, sometimes going over my calories (within 100) but usually with still healthier Snacks and foods. I have been eating out more because life is so crazy and hectic right now, which I need to chill there too. We are going to Florida/Disney the first week of October so I will be forced to eat out then, which is just another reason to stop now. Overall I really don't have any complaints. No issues, and still kicking butt. I see my surgeon for my 6 month check up next week and I am still ahead of the predicted weight loss chart he gave me. I am JUST NOW starting to really see my weight loss in full body pictures. Even more so since I have been wearing clothes that fit rather than huge and falling off. Tons of friends have been commenting and sending me inspiring messages or when they see me say something. It is kind of nice that people are noticing the work I am putting in. Regardless of that, when I saw pictures of myself from the weekend I was like WHOA who is this person?!?! Flipside, I look like a half deflated Water balloon naked. 😂😝 HAHA! KEEP GOING PEOPLE- WE GOT THIS! 6 months and hit 100 lbs loss today since surgery and 137 total! 5 6 acopas, liveaboard15, KimA-GA and 8 others reacted to this

You are definitely better than me in following the post-op diet. I've only lost 50 Kg (110 lbs) or so in seven months (which I still feel awesome about). I didn't start the diet until after the surgery tho. I also don't get hungry but find myself snacking a lot these days specially when I'm at work. I now bring some sliced cucumber / almonds with me to snack on during the day. I usually take two slices of cucumber or two almonds and the urge to eat is gone. Enjoy your upcoming trip and remember to take a lot of photos and try all the rides. Have fun! 2 KimA-GA and kcuster83 reacted to this

St77 87 Posted September 22, 2022 Congratulations on your weight loss! I'm 4 1/5 months out from mine and have lost 60 pounds so far. Have a great time at Disney and if there are any good recommendations for restaurants that are good for those of us who've had the surgery, I'd love to know. I'll be there the middle of December. 2 kcuster83 and KimA-GA reacted to this

Thank you! When I looked around at restaurants in the parks we are visiting it seemed to be like anywhere else. American food, Mexican, Deli like places, etc. Just as if you go anywhere to eat, but with Disney prices. haha If I happen to come across anything that really stands out for better options I will definitely pass it along! 1 KimA-GA reacted to this
