Mphthegreat 4 Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) Hey, has anyone experienced round dry Patches all over the body? I’ve placed all kinds of ointment on the. I’m wondering if this is a side effect of the survey or something? I’ve made an appointment to see a doctor but it’ll take TWO WEEKS before I can get in. HealthierMe2022 24 Posted August 23, 2022 My skin has been exceptionally dry. I think it's from dehydration, which makes sense because I'm sure I don't yet drink enough. I'm hoping that's all it is for you!

I'm hoping that's all it is for you! My legs are super dry and I haven't been hitting my Water goals either. I'm going to try to step up my water intake to see if that helps! kcuster83 1,504 Posted August 24, 2022 I have always had super dry skin, especially in the winter. I will get dry spots. I always drink plenty of Water and use PRESCRIPTION lotions too. But, since surgery I have had a quarter sized dry spot right in the middle of my back that I can't get to go away. I don't know how it would be from surgery but it is weird that it happened all at the same time. I showed my doctor last time I was there, he confirmed it is just dry skin and to keep applying the lotion to it. Usually they go away but this one has been there for 5 months now..🤷♀️

Same spot, doesn't always itch but it flares up periodically. The dermatologist said it is something that happens, more commonly in women. It is harmless, and I wish I could remember what she called it. Googling isn't a big help, but I think it might be this one: notalgia paresthetica. You might want to ask a dermatologist at some point, but again she wasn't concerned. 1 kcuster83 reacted to this
