Chris_NJ 9 Posted December 17, 2007 :biggrin1: and this folks is why I moved to Florida this year. Last night I went in the pool for a swim. My port didn't get sore at all. LOL I will say it did cool off though because I actually turned the AC off and opened the windows.
cookielover 1 Posted December 17, 2007 I want to live somewhere warmer. I live in BC, and while we don't get a lot of snow even a little is too much for me! As for the shovelling thing, I would pay someone to do it for me. If I don't want to do it- I pay someone else to do it. I think it is a simple philosophy. In 10 years after my daughter finishes school and moves out my husband and I are heading south. I am going to get me a lemon tree too!

Chris61 0 Posted December 18, 2007 We had 7 inches in St. Louis over the weekend and I sholved the drive way and side walk with no problems. Did not have any port pain, breathing problems, or wanting to stop like I used to. Hope you are doing well Rain and that your hubby port is doing better. The only problem I had with the port was a slight infection the 2nd day out and the doc gave me some meds to take and have not had any problems with it. Even with the 2 fills I have had. Telecia 1 Posted December 18, 2007 snowblower, or pay one of the neighbor kids to do it for you. lol. I am sooo glad we are in a apartment this year and they do the shoveling. My only complaint is they don't start till 8am and often many (my kids are in school by 7am) have to go out before that.. The guys at my apartment complex use snow blowers, salt spreaders and a Bobcat on the parking lots. But man it's nice not to have to do more then clean off the van. blahblahblah 4 Posted December 18, 2007 Thanks all, I must admit, I love the snow. I'm thrilled that it is this time of year and that it looks like it is going to be a snowy winter. I cannot WAIT to take my 3.5 year old sledding...she's so excited and will be getting a new sled from Santa this year! Good Times! Rain
aubrie 6 Posted December 18, 2007 Everyone seems to have their ports located in different places. I think it may have to do with where your port is located.
