I try to stay busy doing anything.. I’d sell my firstborn for a piece of pizza right now! 😂 I’m going to reward myself in the end with a trip somewhere.. so I’m looking up stuff on that. Keep busy! Hang in there! 😊 Thanks. I caved in and had some jelly Beans. Threw the rest away and I'm committed to getting through this with as few slip ups as possible. madma 0 Posted July 10, 2022 Mine will be in 9 days. A gastric sleeve. I guess it is normal to question if I should do this. Sent from my SM-G998U using BariatricPal mobile app

Sent from my SM-G998U using BariatricPal mobile app Hi madma, I’m the same. I’m a bit nervous now and questioning things but I’m just trying to see myself very thin in a year with great clothes and a healthy self esteem..

I couldn’t take the nausea and throwing up anymore. I read that it depends how close you are to surgery. The Dr will know right away if you ate and prob not be able to proceed with food in your stomach or intestines. That would suck having to do it all over again. 🙄 I was told to double down and get the food out of you ASAP. I hope this helps
WLS-Journey 2 Posted July 10, 2022 Hi everyone... had my surgery on July 6th - Gastric Bypass. I am doing well. It definitely wasn't as terrible as I had pictured in mind. It's been pretty easy actually. No pain or pain meds. Incisions areas just sore/tender but that's it. Getting around 60 ounces of liquid + 1 Jello cup + 2 teaspoons of yogurt + a little broth. Knock on wood, haven't had any nausea or vomiting. I was a nervous wreck 2 days before and even that morning was still anxious but not as nervous as the day before. Excited to see where this journey takes. Happy to answer any questions if anyone has any. 1 I♡BypassedMyPhatAss♡ reacted to this
