Shineaiggy29 4 Posted June 6, 2022 I just started my journey and have 6 months of Dr appointments, evals, and nutritional counseling before I can get approved by insurance. Bariatric surgery is covered by my insurer. I am scared as hell that I will go through all of this and still not get approved 😖. Is it common to get denied? liveaboard15 1,293 Posted June 6, 2022 No not really if you do the steps... and you qualify with your BMI and or medical conditions. if you can update your profile to include your stats. It helps when answering questions. You can click on your profile and then go to surgery and add your weight, height, surgery you are wanting and so on.
