Found these AMAZING high protein soups

Recommended Posts

So i wanted some variety in my foods while still keeping my Protein high, and I found these. I ordered the beef and mushroom Soup and OH MAN it's sooooo good. So now I'm going to be ordering the beef and veggie, the tuscan style chicken, the savory wedding, the roasted chicken, and the beef chili. Each order comes with an 8 pack of whatever soup you order. I eat other things than Soups, but these are good for stocking up in a pantry (where mine are) and you just dump the pouch of soup in a bowl, microwave it, and eat it. I haven't had a lot of luck with high protein foods (the high protein puddings and oatmeal UGH BLAH). So I just thought I would share this. It's more for having in an emergency, stocking food up, if you don't cook, if you need something last minute, etc...

They look delicious. My only drawback on these would be the fat and carb content.

The cost was high, but I can't eat a full pouch in a meal (1 meqal is 1 whole pouch). So the pack of 8 Soups actually gives me 16 meals. The Protein is really good, and while the carbs (still lower are protein) and fat are a little higher than I would want on a day to day basis, I wanted them because they are able to be stored on my shelf, Colorado is having major food shortages at random times, and we still get stupid snow in the summer (we just had it in Mid May), so it's good to have on hand in case it's needed (and if I'm sick or having MS issues, cooking or shopping are off the table, so ready to eat foods are always needed).

Thanks for sharing your finds. Is the Soup sold in single pouches? I’d like a Protein patch I could slap on my arm and that would be my day right there.

Not that I saw. I can look for single pouches, though.

My cousins near Boulder said the same about random food shortages and weather. I used to live near Vail and we would take my truck down to Denver to load up at Sam’s club for a month’s supply of food because back then, 90’s the local stores carried fois gras but no lasagna noodles! That would be very tricky with an MS flare up. I’m glad you found a good solution for your situation. Price is relative in that state for sure!

This could be a good option for me for my Soup cravings. Dad made homemade butternut squash soup and I did the macros and I told him I loved it but could only taste test the spice for him—all carbs and not much else 🙄 I don’t have that unflavored Protein Powder so couldn’t go that route with it. But I adore soup no matter the season 🤣

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
