so today i had to get dressed up for a job interview, getting really bored just sitting around the house all day so i figured i would get a part time job to keep me busy and the only nice clothes i have are some i bought in late March for a funeral. At that time the pants did not fit. I could not close the top button so i used a belt to keep it closed. Today i wore it for the interview and they were too large and even using the belt at the last notch they were not secure and the shirt i wore was one that was too small in late march fit me perfectly today Gotta say i love that. LMAO.

I love the clothing surprises. I recently found all the clothes that fit me well after my 2016 surgery before I relapsed and put most of the weight back on - now after my revision I'm close to where I was five years ago and all my old clothes are fitting again.

I went from XXL shirts (which were starting to get snug), to XL, to L, and now even the L's are getting a little roomy.

I cant wait to loose more. I literally have an entire closet of nearly brand new or brand new clothing that i have not been able to wear since 2014.

Make sure you don't miss your chance with some of them - a long time ago (before my first surgery) I bought a cool jersey from the movie Slapshot, it's a Charlestown Chiefs jersey that has the name Hanson on the back. It was too small when I bought it so I stuck it in my closet and forgot about it.

After my first surgery when I lost a lot of weight I found it and tried it on - TOO BIG!

So I figured I missed my opportunity to wear it and put it back in the closet. Anyway, when I put back on the weight and started losing it again after revision surgery, I managed to start wearing it at the perfect time when it fit, and was able to wear it for about a month or so before it got too big again.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
