liveaboard15 1,293 Posted May 16, 2022 (edited) I dealt with this for about 2 weeks now on and off. Mainly in my calf area and also swelled. I thought it could have been a blood clot so i went to the ER last week and they did a ultrasound as well from the top of my leg all the way down and no clot. they said either dehydration and or just your body going thru changes with the surgery. tho my surgery was only 1 month ago. I did buy this massager for my calves and love it. I feel better after using it. catwoman7 11,221 Posted May 16, 2022 I remember reading somewhere that that's happened to people (don't know how common it is, though). I believe it's temporary. 2 vickie2017 and Pantherwild69 reacted to this

kcuster83 1,504 Posted May 16, 2022 That's weird. I normally would have thought a blood clot but since that was already ruled out I don't know. Are you guys walking a lot? Maybe too much sitting? Like when you sit on the toilet too long and your legs go numb? 😂😂😂😂 Have either of you asked the actual surgeon about it?

Like liveaboard15 said, I believe it to be dehydration since I sometimes struggle with getting all my fluids in. Mine actually feels like a knot sometimes but there is nothing there so could be low potassium as well. Hard to say but no blood clot. I also have a similar pair of leg massager's like pictured above and if my right calf acts up I usually get those out and put on both legs and it does help. Feels better afterwards, I usually do mine in the evening and go to bed afterwards. Especially if I have swelling. 1 vickie2017 reacted to this
