NuJurnee 0 Posted May 1, 2022 Hi all! I’m a little nervous of flying home after surgery. Only 2.5 hours. I am traveling without a companion. Does anyone have experience or feedback for me? Thank you
ShoppGirl 5,007 Posted May 1, 2022 I did not fly post surgery but have seen this question several times. Compression socks are suggested as well as getting an aisle seat so you can easily get up and down to walk. Since you have a companion they will be able to lift your belongings for you so you are good there. I personally think if you had a stomach binder on it would be more comfortable during any turbulence. Many surgery centers provide them. I had never heard of them because I didn’t join this site until just before surgery but I woke up with one on after surgery. They just hold everything tight and still. 1 NuJurnee reacted to this
