liveaboard15 1,293 Posted May 1, 2022 Its just your head. regardless you should be following your surgeons guidelines with food. you should be on liquids only for about 2 weeks after surgery. Most important is getting in those 60 grams of Protein and your fluids to heal properly.

GENERALLY SPEAKING (this is by no means a hard and fast rule though): it is usually in your head if: - you want something specific - the feeling of wanting to eat comes on quickly and intensely. - you still feel it even after eating something - it goes away or gets less intense when distracted. It is usually real hunger if: - you want anything (not something specific) - the feeling comes on slowly and grows more intense as time goes on - it lessens when you eat something Edited May 1, 2022 by ms.sss 4 STLoser, AussieMom3, MandoGetsSleeved and 1 other reacted to this
ShoppGirl 5,004 Posted May 1, 2022 Pretty much what ms.sss said, I always know if it’s head hunger because what I am craving is something I really shouldn’t be having (even if it’s sugar free I really don’t need chocolate right now) vs a craving for anything. Real food, even vegetables I don’t love sound good when it’s real hunger. 1 SleeveToBypass2023 reacted to this
