Hi Amy! I'm waiting with baited breath for the outcome. My girlfriend at work is still THRILLED with her TT from Dr. Adam (done 12-14) and she looks GREAT. Can't wait to get your take on it!

Wow!!! You look great Amy!!!! Nice manicure too, LOL. You are obviously an organized person if you can pull that off along with the plastic surgery. Your results are very inspiring. I can't wait to see the progression over time.

Amy: I think I'll say something like, "I am live, too!" I'm counting on it. Checked out your pictures and you look wonderful. It's getting me excited to get it done! How long were you in surgery? Are you surpised that it was only 4 pounds of skin? Rest and enjoy your pain meds!

LOL! That was my bigest fear was dying on the table so needles to say I was very happy when I was "Alive".My surgery took almost 6hrs.He also took 2lbs of fat off of each thigh.Of coarse my scales are saying I am heavier than before I went under.I knew better but was just curious. Now it is just sit and wait for the swelling to go down!

Two pounds of each thigh?! Wow! I bet they could get more off my thighs! It's amazing what they can do. Does the Lipo hurt worse than the TT? That's what Nina from England says? Glad you're doing well.

Actually my lipo does not hurt at all,he injects lidocaine when he lipos so they are still numb.My boobs and MR is what hurts the worse. It is just very hard to move and get comfortable with the lack of using my stomach or arm muscles.I am trying to take my meds round the clock. As long as I have someone to help with the kids, why hurt:huh2:

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
