Not anymore. I hate this. While my body is warm my face is cold and nose runs constantly. Not to mention a lot of people will pass out if they saw my electric bill. Thought I never would say this but I can't wait for summer! Going through this exact same thing! This has been the least enjoyable winter so far. I used to HATE sleeping with socks & now I absolutely have to. I'd wear sweaters 5x max during California winters & now I need it everyday. Experiencing Summer with less fat is gonna be great
Ellebronwyn 13 Posted January 26, 2023 I have always been sensitive to cold temperatures, but post-surgery it has only gotten worse so I understand! I try to bring a thick jacket to wear in the office (we are not allowed to have heaters unfortunately as they are considered a "fire hazard"....). Sometimes I have to get up and get moving/walking to warm myself up as well. It can also be a sign of Iron deficiency so be careful!
Summermoose 193 Posted January 29, 2023 I’ve found that wearing the right type of material helps immensely.. merino wool keeps you very warm. I just can’t stand wool touching my skin so I wear a cotton layer beneath (socks, undershirt, etc). Flannel is fantastic too, as is alpaca/cashmere. What I usually do is layer a cotton undershirt under a merino roll neck sweater (or a flannel shirt under a crew neck sweater) which I may top with a wool blazer. On the bottom I’ll wear either wool pants or thick jeans, sometimes with warm leggings or thick knit tights underneath. Next to that I always put thermal liners in my shoes to keep out the worst cold, and try to wear thick soles in winter. Another tip is to make sure your clothes aren’t too tight. Layering is most effective when there is some air between them! Investing in some good pieces has really helped me so far. I love Arket, Cos and Massimo Dutti because they are excellent value for money. Not sure if they’re in the US though!
Bettyboop56 33 Posted January 29, 2023 I layer up. Got a fleece vest on most of time.

Not sure 48 Posted February 13, 2023 I’m always cold as well, living in northern Canada has forced me to buy heated everything from blankets to clothes. What a difference from last winter when I thought everywhere was way too hot. 1 Lisa XO reacted to this
