Flab-U-Less Forever 140 Posted April 28, 2022 What about a small portable heater when you have to sit at your desk.

I travel for work, so I'm in a different office/desk every week, sometimes every few days. If I can't easily pack it in carry on, I can't use it, unfortunately. ShoppGirl 5,024 Posted April 28, 2022 Ok so my Netflix wasn’t working and I feel too lazy to clean today so I decided to do some research for you, lol. I think I found one product you may like. Hot hands makes heated foot insoles. It says they work for up to 9 hours and are TSA approved. They sell on Amazon five pairs for 11 bucks. Hopefully this helps a little. 1 Arabesque reacted to this

Not really much to do to solve the issue in the short term, other than what you are already doing! You can move a little more to get blood flowing, which helps with the cold. I too wore ridiculous amounts of layers of clothing compared to those around me. Mr. would be shirtless and wearing shorts and i’d be in woollen socks, sweatpants, long-sleeve top, hoodie (with the hood on!) AND a blankie. My personal hell was the grocery freezer aisle in the summer. Long term though, it will likely get a little better after you are done with rapid weight loss phase. Also, you can start making it even better now by doing some weight training (if thats your bag) as having muscles can increase your core temperature. Good Luck! ❤️ 1 1 Wahinebythesea and lizonaplane reacted to this

Very lightweight so you can wear it invisibly under almost anything and sooooo warm! (Only caveat is that they max out at XL). 1 lizonaplane reacted to this

I bought some base layers and haven't found them that helpful, but maybe that brand is better? 1 Wahinebythesea reacted to this

It used to be that if I did some exercise for ten minutes, I would be warm for hours... now I'm only warm for about 20 minutes! I know I need to do more weight training, but I get lost trying... I did meet with a trainer, but she wasn't very friendly.

I was stuck outside a lot this winter, and I was cold even INDOORS so I tried a bunch of different types of base layer clothing. These were my favourites - I almost forgot how great they were until one day I forgot to put them on, and just about froze to death. Wearing them inside under my ordinary clothing is the only time I'm actually "comfortable / toasty". I still don't understand how they work so well. They are made of wool and aren't scratchy to my skin, but if you have allergies / sensitive skin, they might not work for you (they are wool, after all :). Bettyboop56 33 Posted January 18, 2023 I wear a fleece vest as a layer, everywhere. Then bring a coat relative to weather, rain or cold. I bring a blanket to movie theater. Hate air conditioners. They made me cold before but worse now. After menopause I can tolerate cooler temps overall.
Candigrl1 152 Posted January 19, 2023 I'm using a small portable heater, wearing heavy clothes, socks etc. I used to love the cold and looked forward to this time of year. Not anymore. I hate this. While my body is warm my face is cold and nose runs constantly. Not to mention a lot of people will pass out if they saw my electric bill. Thought I never would say this but I can't wait for summer!
